title: Fun-ness!
There isn't much homework this weekend :D I'm totally dreading the onslaught next week.
I am like totally lost for Chem QA and I don't know whether there'll be books telling you what result you'll get if you mix this and this together etc. In class I don't learn much! It's quite sad when teachers have so much knowledge inside them but fail to communicate it to us.
Anyway, Chinese New Year was quite fun just that it got me sick. Again. Haha and not because I ate too much CNY goodies; I think it's just 'cause I didn't have enough of my beauty sleep during those 2 days of visiting and visiting. I think visiting is only fun when you know the people you're visiting well and those people aren't, uh, dislike-able. I still have so many more dinners to go to and I'm not close to those people and am so bored when I go there.
And can you believe it - this CNY I haven't touched playing cards! So no-fun right. I'm hoping to do so tomorrow night haha :D
Lookie! (Joni's favorite email subject hahaha)
MY BIRTHDAY (:

In school Wednesday when we were allowed to wear 'festive clothes' to school (: (yay finally a picture with Kelly and Anna!)

title: Happiness is to know the Saviour
I turned
16 yesterday and I had loads of fun because my family, relatives and friends made it so remarkably special (: Thanks a lot - for all the thoughts, the wishes, the gifts and your presences! Haha I don't know if there's such a word but (x
In the morning I was rushing like xiao to get to the airport on time to see Nana off (why must she leave our class is getting smaller what with Chloe and Liz and now Nana ): Enjoy yourself in Saudi Arabia and don't get too conservative okay! Haha!) and in the end she came at 11 which was the time Anna and I had to leave if we wanted to catch Changeling with Kelly. So we took some pictures, hung around, bade Nana goodbye and then left with Vanessa for PS.
What was disappointing was I didn't get to watch my first NC16 movie oh man oh man! We had already bought the tickets and were thrilled (childishly so I think) that the guy at the counter didn't check our ICs (which I didn't bring anyway) when the person tearing the tickets checked mine and Kelly's ez-links and then later refused to let us in when he saw Anna's.
I didn't know they were so strict/anal whatever about it but what's a movie without the company?! :D So we watched Transporter 3 instead (: Which turned out to be quite a cool movie! I mean there's Jason Statham who looks so dapper in his well-fitted suits (not to mention his cool accent), sleek and shiny Audi's with deep, purry engines (gasp) and a pretty girl with a mysterious accent. And freckles (like me ;)). Haha. We ate at Ajisen Ramen and after that had ice cream cones/bubble tea sitting at the promenade (or wtv its called) outside PS talking about...people and things (: I think that was the most enjoyable part of the 'outing' man! Just spending time together 'cause we don't really do that much in school.
Anna said she, Kelly, Joni and Evan wanted to have a surprise party at my house but my mum'd be busy so she said they couldn't. Haha but it's ok I still had fun without the surprise element (which was to come later anyway!).
I got home and helped my mum do some preparatory stuff for the birthday/CNY dinner at night. My relatives came and we had the lou hei thing from Sakae. When we were finishing dinner there were some people who were like, walking very stealthily down the corridor and it turned out to be my cell! Haha! I was totally not expecting them to crash my house la. They brought Island Creamery and (I think) Kevin came up with the funny funny hold-the-cup-on-your-arm-without-spilling-anything trick haha. I think Bobo has a video of Evan phailing at it! After that we cut the cake (we 'cause my dad and grandma are January people too; cool right!). A while later my cell left and I opened the presents my relatives gave me (:D). Of course by then it was really late and that marked the end of my very eventful, fun and :D :D sixteenth birthday (:

title: How about a white new year?
I AM SO HAPPY MATH TEST IS OVER. No more hard studying for a few weeks at least.
I've gotten a new phone finally. Yay! Okay I realised the finally should come before the gotten but never mind. This week has been quite eventful but at least the Chinese New Year holidayish feeling is already creeping in so it won't feel so bad going to school this week! Anyway, tennis is fun! But I'm still getting used to it -.-
Two things that suck:
1. I was booked for Inappropriate Attire and Grooming. My fringe, to be exact. Although I had just cut it last Friday. How ironic.
2. Friday isn't a half day.
I'm sleepy maybe I'll post a more detailed entry when I'm in the right frame of mind and state of un-laziness to revive this very stagnant page but for now I'm going to sleep.

I exceeded the world limit by 111 words.
But heck. I finished all my homework before 12 midnight! :D
Chem tomorrow. Math on Friday. I canNOT wait 'til these things are over. Ok I'll save you the 'A' and multiple 'h's that follow. Haha (:

title: GREAT!
And now I've found
The greatest love of all is mine. It's the new year! As much as I don't wanna go back to school, the new year means another year to try things you've never done and to do things that you'd aimed to do last year but failed to.
I'm not one for New year's resolutions, but one thing I am very very sure about is that I must (die-die must!) get above 3.6 this year. And I have to journal at least 3-4 times a week (: Well and of course I have to (try to) live up to everything that everyone expects of me (parents, teachers, friends, myself!). But I really hope this year will be generally enjoyable ;)
In 2008 I've grown closer to many school friends and churchies, and so 2009 will be another 365-day period just to know them even better! Haha. Ya this entry's kinda of a cliche in itself but it's what I feel. So. HAPPY NEW YEAR! (to all of you out there, and to me. Haha :D)

title: Tasmania! :D
Some awesome pictures of the awesome landscape in Tasmania (after having postponed putting them up for ages haha!.
Clear water of dove Lake lapping at an unused boathouse with Cradle Mountain in the background. (Although this was the place where my sandwich got stolen by a currawong D<, it's still so picturesque don't you think!)

Cradle Mountain.

A path leading into the unknown. Haha (:

I can see every single thing on the stream bed!

Compare normal water with the water affected by tanning at the Cradle Mountain area. Cool right. It tastes perfectly fine and refreshing (:

You can't help but be enchanted when you're on the Enchanted Forest Trail (:

A random photo of a shop on the day slightly gloomy day we arrived in Hobart.

Wacky faces!

The dock where Mures (the seafood restaurant!) was. The IXL jams building in the background isn't in use anymore though.

The Cadbury Factory was so interesting man! Somehow you feel really young and intrigued all over again. Haha when I next went there to return some chocolates 2 days later the entire shelf behind us was empty! That's how fast they sell their chocolates.

The Cadbury truck playing the adverts from ages ago to now. (Wouldn't it be nice...)

The Seven Mile Beach. A seven-mile expanse of sand and sea and it looked awesome when I saw it from the plane window.

Port Arthur - the ex-convict-hellhole.

Tessellated pavement! It's 100% natural. Geog students, go figure (: (I know how they were formed okay.)

From somewhere in Battery Point in Hobart.

The three handsome musicians at the Salamanca Market. It's hard to describe how nice their music sounded, seriously.

Queen Victoria Market. Haha (:

There you go.
